Taxonomy Notes from Flann et al. 2010 Taxon 59: Type - T. pygmaea Cass. (Nassauvia pygmaea (Cass.) Hook. f.). Note: Triachne and its typonym were validated by a common description (descriptio generico-specifica; see also the entry Henricia). A full species description was provided by Cassini in the following year (in Bull. Sci. Soc. Philom. Paris 1818: 48 1818), from which place both the generic name and the typonym have sometimes been cited. [details]
